We couldn't be more proud to share this original artwork from one of our former Global Girls Education Interns, Ibarra Demmerle. After her time with the foundation drew to a close, Ibarra has gone on to use her artistic skills and creative eye to advocate for girls education. Recently, she create a zine focused on girls education, for which she won a prize, and has had her art shown locally.
Ibarra's original digital artwork was inspired by what she learned in her time with PaperSeed, and drew from Girl Rising's powerful messages about the impact educating girls can have on communities and the world.
